The IGAsorp is a fully automated bench top gravimetric analysis system designed to quickly and accurately measure the magnitude and kinetics of moisture sorption by materials.

The IGAsorp range utilises the unique IGA method, which exploits the relaxation of the sample after relative humidity (RH) or temperature change to simultaneously determine kinetic parameters and equilibrium uptake. The instruments combine an ultra sensitive microbalance with precise measurement and control of both humidity and temperature.

A.P.E. Research s.r.l. produces two versions of Atomic Force Microscope (AFM). The A100-AFM is equipped with a closed loop sample positioning system. It guarantees absolute positioning with an accuracy of 10 nm (up to ten times better than closed loop AFM in the market).
This particular feature, together with the specific A.P.E. Research software tool, makes the instrument suitable for nano-lithography.
The A100-AFM SGS is equipped with a flexure scanning stage that guarantees high planarity for customers interested in large area AFM measurements (up to 100 mm).
A.P.E. Research has developed additional AFM tools for specific measurements modes (EFM, MFM, Liquid Cell).
Other tools are developed upon customer requests or in a joint collaboration with Italian research institutions.

The possibility to go beyond the Abbe diffraction limit has been achieved with the Near-field light optical microscopes (SNOM). They employ SPMs precision of piezoelectric raster-scanning together with sharp probes to obtain light optical images at subwavelength resolution.
Particular care has been taken to different applications from solid state to biomedicine.

The PCX is the only commercial in-line laboratory scale phase contrast X-ray system available today. A number of source configurations are available providing either 4 micron or 1 micron resolution. Using XRT's patented imaging technology, including an X-ray source of high lateral spacial coherence, proven phase retrieval software and a high resolution large array detector, PCX may be configured to acquire absorption images, phase and absorption images, or images with a very pronounced phase signature. Phase plays a large part in producing images of high contrast - particularly from structures which are weakly absorbing and thus not amenable to imaging by conventional X-ray techniques.
